Why: Honestly, it's just been too long since we’ve gathered. 

 

1. WHAT’S THE EARLY BIRD SAVER?

   1. The Early Bird Saver package offers a discount of approximately $500 off the quoted price. Please note, this option is only available for the first twenty (20) reservations paid in full.

2. HOW DOES THE PAYMENT PLAN OPTION WORK?

   1. *A deposit of one night’s stay is required to secure a booking with the resort. Final payment is due within thirty days of travel

3. ARE ONE PERSON ROOMS AVAILABLE?
   All rooms are priced based on double occupancy

 REFUNDS/CANCELLATION

1. Any cancellation of a booking by a Client must be handled directly with DREAMS KARIBANA within 30 days of the first scheduled resort day.  EXCURSION PACKAGES (which includes transportation) ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. It is recommended that all UF BLACK ALUMNI and FRIENDS purchase travel insurance. Travel cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights. 

   1. UF BLACK ALUMNI TRAVEL, LLC  is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the Client may have incurred as a result of the canceled booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable..

2. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSIT IF I CAN NO LONGER MAKE IT?

   1. Please note that cancellations will have to be administered with DREAMS KARIBANA and must be made within 30 days of your scheduled trip.

3. WHAT HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE FOR 2022 TRIPS?

COVID REQUIREMENTS

All passengers arriving in Colombia are required to register their details on the Colombian government’s CheckMig application within 72 hours prior to boarding an inbound or outbound flight. Passengers 18 years and older arriving in Colombia by air or land must show proof of full vaccination upon arrival. If the passenger is not fully vaccinated, they can present a negative result from a PCR test taken within 72 hours of boarding or a negative result from an antigen test taken within 48 hours to boarding.

 

DO I BOOK MY OWN FLIGHT?

Please note that we do not currently offer flight booking services at this time. Please note that all currently listed trip prices do not include international flights from your home country to the destination.

CAN I INVITE A FRIEND? DO THEY HAVE TO BE A GATOR ALUMNI?

Yes! However, all spaces are first come first serve. The resort only has 268 rooms and is selling quickly due to traveling on a holiday weekend.

NOPE, we do not discriminate! We love everybody and welcome all Gators and Friends to enjoy a good time!

 

DO I NEED A PASSPORT OR VISA TO TRAVEL WITH UF BLACK ALUMNI TRAVEL, LLC.

All U.S. citizens who do not also hold Colombian citizenship must present a valid U.S. passport to enter and leave Colombia. U.S. citizens do not need a Colombian visa for a tourist or business stay of 90 days or less, or for cumulative stays of 180 days or less per calendar year.

 

What should I pack?
An itinerary will be provided at minimum 60 days in advance for suggested attire for themed events.
